Status light on your player


The status light on your Screenspace digital signage player indicates different processes.

During the setup of your Screenspace digital signage player:

  1. Flashing red light: The system start-up. Your player is booting up.
  2. Flashing pink light: The system started correctly. Your player is attempting to connect to WiFi
  3. Flashing blue light: Your player is starting screenspace.
  4. Solid blue light: Your player is running correctly and connected to the WiFi.


After the setup of your Screenspace digital signage player:

  1. Solid blue light: Your player is running correctly. If set up in Connected mode, the light will flicker every 20 seconds when it contacts the server.
  2. Flashing blue and red lights: Your player is running but cannot contact the server. This can be a WiFi issue or a dead Internet connection. If the connection (or WiFi) is corrected, the light will go back to just blue with the flicker every 20 seconds to show server connection.
