To use your screen in portrait orientation (9:16) follow the steps outlined in our guide below.

Using the Screenspace CMS


Before you begin, please note that rotating the orientation of adverts in the CMS is only available with our latest version release. If you're not sure whether your player has been updated to the latest version, let our simple guide take you through this process: Updating your player software online

  1. Design and publish portrait adverts to your screen using the CMS at www.screenspace.live. Once you have published a portrait advert to your screen, you will notice that it isn't displayed in the correct orientation and needs rotation. The next steps will guide you through this.

  2. Navigate to the Screens section of your account. Ensure the view of your screens is in List View. Find the screen you wish to adjust.

  3. From the dropdown menu next to the screen simply select Rotate 90 degrees and click the button to confirm this action. Observe the content rotate on the screen and repeat the process until your content is displayed in the correct orientation.

  4. If your advert contains a video, after you selected to the desired orientation, press the Reset button for 1s and wait for the player (10s) to change the video’s orientation too.


Once you have the correct orientation there is no need to do anything further. All content published from the CMS in portrait will output correctly to that screen.
