Quick restart and factory reset
Quick Reboot
A simple reboot is the first step in troubleshooting a player that misbehaves or fails to connect successfully.
To reboot your player, simply press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds. After the reboot, your player should resume playback of the last playlist and automatically reconnect to the WiFi if previously connected.
Factory Reset
If the quick reboot did not solve the issue, the next step is to factory reset the player and restore it using a USB key.
WARNING – A factory reset will erase any WiFi and Screenspace account settings you had previously saved on the device.
To factory reset your player press and hold the reset button for at 23 seconds.
Once you have factory reset your player follow the instructions www.screenspace.live/start to reconnect your player to the local WiFi and your Screenspace account.
Factory reset via the CMS
A factory reset can also be performed via the Screenspace CMS. Simply log in to your account, navigate to Screens, choose List View and a drop-down menu will offer you the option to factory reset.
