Managing multiple users in Screenspace


Where organisations need to provide access to different team members fulfilling different roles in their account, Screenspace now enables corporate customers to set up multiple users within their account. This allows for content and screens to be shared between different users in a company.

This feature is also useful for resellers providing a managed digital signage service.

Company

A company is a group of users who can share adverts, playlists, schedules and screens among each other.

Please note that new users can only be set up by the Screenspace Support Team. To set up a company and the users within it, contact our dedicated Support Team here.

Admin User

An admin user is able to:

  1. View all adverts, playlists, schedules and screens from managed users in the company
  2. Create adverts, playlists and schedules - and publish them to screens
  3. Share adverts, playlists, schedules and screens with other users in the Company
  4. In My Account, create a config file for the USB provisioning of new Screenspace players
  5. In My Account, edit the details of the Company including the logo that is shown in the CMS
  6. In My Account, edit permissions for users in the Company
  7. In My Account, view the activity of other users in the Company

Managed User

A managed user is able to:

  1.  Create adverts, playlists and schedules – and publish them to screens
  2.  Share adverts, playlists, schedules and screens with other users in the Company
  3.  In My Account, create a config file for the USB provisioning of new Screenspace players

An example

A Company uses an external designer to create their content. The designer is set up as a Managed User and can share any content that they create with the Admin. The Admin does not share any screens with the Managed User so only the Admin can publish content to the Company's screens. The Admin can see the content created by the designer and schedule it for publication to the screens once approved.
